Crafted from Banshu-ori cotton woven in Nishiwaki City, Hyogo, this blouse is made using rare vintage power looms that are still in operation today. Slowly woven at a pace that allows only a small amount of fabric to be produced each day, the cloth prioritizes texture and softness over efficiency.
With every wash, the fabric gradually fills with air, becoming softly billowed and increasingly gentle against the skin. Over time, it develops a familiar, lived-in feel—much like a well-loved vintage garment.
The new Black color is inspired by classic vintage cloth. Its deep tone highlights the subtle uneven texture unique to Banshu-ori, creating a calm yet dignified impression with restrained elegance. Vintage lace detailing at the neckline, front placket, and cuffs stands out beautifully against the black base—never overly sweet, but refined and quietly strong.
Designed with generous room through the sleeves, the silhouette feels relaxed and effortless. It wears beautifully on its own and layers naturally with jackets, coats, or knitwear. The neckline can be styled in different ways depending on how many buttons are fastened, and casually rolled sleeves add a balanced, confident finish.
As it is worn and washed over time, the fabric’s expression continues to evolve—an understated aging process unique to black that allows you to cultivate your own sense of vintage character. A cotton blouse designed to be enjoyed across seasons, growing more personal with every wear.
