This blouse is inspired by the wrapped shirts traditionally worn by the nomadic Rabari people of India. It’s crafted from handwoven silk-cotton voile—a fabric that’s incredibly lightweight and sheer, yet dense and durable. Subtle horizontal lines, a hallmark of handweaving, catch the light to give the fabric a soft sense of depth and texture. The design is kept simple to highlight the material, while the tie ends at the waist are adorned with brass buttons wrapped in metallic Zari thread for an elegant accent. The front peplum features box pleats and adjustable gathers tied with a string, creating a soft, voluminous silhouette. You can wear it wrapped like a traditional cache-coeur, or leave it open and gathered like a light cardigan. The airy, translucent fabric adds a breezy, cool impression. Made in India.
