Featuring a chemical-free, natural wrinkle finish, the simple silhouette gains a relaxed, lived-in character. Over time, gentle washing and ironing will gradually smooth out the crinkles, allowing you to enjoy the unique aging process of the fabric. Perfectly balanced to flatter without clinging, it feels comfortably snug initially due to the creasing, but gradually molds to your body with wear. What I love most about this shirt is how wonderfully light and comfortable it feels. Once you wear it, it’s the kind of shirt you’ll want to reach for again very soon. The naturally crinkled texture gives the fabric so much character, creating a relaxed look that never feels too formal or overly polished.
There are two styles to choose from: a clean band collar and a classic regular collar. Each creates a slightly different look around the neckline, but both offer the same light and comfortable feel, so you can simply choose whichever style suits you best.
It looks lovely worn on its own as a shirt, or with the buttons open as a light layer.
And as the weather turns colder, I’m looking forward to layering it with wool knits. We have a beautiful blue knit arriving this winter, and I think it will look especially lovely with a glimpse of the gingham check showing at the collar or hem.
