Woven on traditional power looms in Nishiwaki City, Hyogo, this indigo tartan fabric is a refined example of Banshu-ori, known for its depth and character.
Indigo-dyed yarns create a classic tartan pattern based on rich indigo blue—an original design by Dopple & Scent.
The overshirt features a clean stand collar and a relaxed wide silhouette. Designed with drop shoulders, it has a gently rounded hem and a slightly longer back length, adding soft movement and balance to the overall shape.
Light enough to be worn as an outer layer over bare skin or a tank top in spring and summer, it also layers effortlessly over turtlenecks or knitwear in cooler seasons. The versatile design works beautifully under jackets or coats, making it a year-round piece.
