What I especially love about this skirt from D/d is its beautiful, rich shade of Orange.
One of my favorite details is the softly voluminous silhouette created by the tucks at the waist.
The lightweight cotton typewriter fabric has just the right amount of crispness and structure, giving the skirt a lovely three-dimensional shape when worn.
The subtle variations in color created by sulfur dyeing, along with the naturally crinkled texture of the fabric, add even more character to this piece.
I personally own and love wearing the matching pullover blouse in the same fabric, so I especially enjoy the idea of styling them together as a set.
Of course, the skirt is just as lovely styled on its own.
