This skirt is part of ichi Antiquites’ much-loved linen series, a collection that has remained a favorite for many years. This season, it is crafted from French linen with a wonderfully light and airy texture that allows the breeze to gently pass through. Although a generous amount of fabric is used, the skirt never feels heavy, creating a beautiful, naturally flowing silhouette with every step.
The waist features a wide elastic band, making it wonderfully comfortable to wear while also creating a lovely, clean look when you tuck in a top. The skirt is made with a double layer of fabric, allowing you to enjoy the soft translucency of French linen and the beautiful depth created as the layers overlap. I think this subtle play of light and texture is one of the most charming details of the skirt. I often pair it with a simple T-shirt or blouse, but I especially love styling it with the shirt from the same series. Worn together, the matching pieces create the relaxed, understated look that feels so characteristic of ichi Antiquites.
