Complete with an elasticated waistband, internal drawstring, and practical side pockets, this piece is a versatile wardrobe staple.
These pants from D/d are one of my personal favorites, and I love wearing them myself.
What I especially love is the cocoon silhouette, with its generous volume and beautifully rounded shape that gently tapers toward the hem.
The three-dimensional silhouette looks wonderful when worn, giving even the simplest outfit a distinctive character.
The lightweight cotton typewriter fabric has just the right amount of structure, allowing the softly rounded shape to hold beautifully without clinging to the body.
And I absolutely love this rich, slightly muted shade of Orange.
I also own the matching drawstring pullover in the same fabric, and sometimes enjoy wearing them together as a set.
Each piece has its own distinctive silhouette, yet when worn together, they create such a lovely balance. The result is simple but wonderfully striking.
I also recommend pairing these pants with a White top, letting the beautiful Orange color and cocoon silhouette take center stage.
When winter arrives, I'm looking forward to wearing them with a soft, cozy wool sweater.
