Material
The shirt features a soft, comfortable handwoven stripe fabric in muted tones, washed for a vintage-inspired finish. Its multi-stripe pattern brings both character and subtle sophistication. The weaving technique is the same as the traditional Bengara-shima stripes cherished in Japan since the Edo period, originating from Bengal’s iconic stripe textiles.
Each piece is carefully crafted by artisans in India. Because of the handmade process, each item has its own unique character—slight irregularities, small imperfections, or variations in texture and yarn are part of its natural charm.
Launched in the 2024 Autumn/Winter season, this brand brings together traditional Indian craftsmanship and a refined Japanese sensibility.
Each piece is created by skilled artisans using hand-spun, hand-dyed, and handwoven natural materials such as cotton and linen. The fabrics feature a rich texture and softness that gently improves with wear and washing.
