Are you enjoying a wonderful start to the new year?

In Japan, we traditionally celebrate with a special meal called Osechi Ryori. It was originally designed so that hardworking women could take a break from cooking during the New Year, as the dishes are made to last several days. While this custom isn’t as strict nowadays, the tradition of enjoying Osechi continues.

This year, we decided to purchase our Osechi—and we went with a Chinese-inspired style! We’re having a relaxing time celebrating with family and friends.
