How Japanese Mothers Spend Their Day Off

I've been working at miel long before I got married. I married later in life, and a few years after that, I had my daughter, followed by my son a few years later. My son is now almost 13. On weekends, he accompanies me to the grocery store and helps carry the bags. In your country, is it common for men to help carry shopping bags? In Japan, it has become more common than it used to be, but it’s still a bit rare to see children helping with the bags.

Also, it might be a little unusual for a 13-year-old boy in Japan to wear colorful pants, but my son seems to enjoy fashion!
